Rochelle Canteen is partnering with Twenty8 NoMad at NoMad London for a three-month winter residency in Covent Garden.

Running from 15 October 2026 until 15 January 2027, the residency will bring Rochelle Canteen’s seasonal cooking to the hotel’s courtyard restaurant, with the menu changing each month.
The collaboration also marks a return to Covent Garden for Rochelle Canteen Head Chef Hector Henderson, who grew up in the area.
During the residency, Henderson and the Rochelle Canteen team will work alongside NoMad London Executive Chef Carlo Scotto and the Twenty8 NoMad kitchen team.
The partnership follows Scotto’s recent appointment as Executive Chef at NoMad London alongside Josh Harnden becoming Global Culinary Director for NoMad Hotels.
The opening October menu will include devilled crab on toast, with aubergine on toast available as a vegan alternative, alongside pumpkin and sage soup.
Main courses will include chicken, leek and cider pie with new potatoes and spring greens, followed by pear and almond tart with crème fraîche.
The menu will evolve throughout the residency, with December dishes including deep-fried tripe with ketchup, fried potato bake with smoked cod’s roe, pheasant and mushroom pie, fish pie and baked goat’s cheesecake.
Hector Henderson says “We are excited to be bringing the flavours and energy of Rochelle Canteen to Twenty8 NoMad. It has been great to join the team in the kitchen, and design a menu inspired by both restaurants’ love of the seasons. We cannot wait for guests to come in and try the menu!”
“I’ve long admired Rochelle Canteen – it’s the kind of cooking I love most, honest, generous and led entirely by the season,” says Carlo Scotto, Executive Chef at Twenty8 NoMad. “Having Hector and the team with us at Twenty8 NoMad this winter feels like a natural fit, and there’s something special about bringing a place so loved in East London into the heart of Covent Garden. It’s been a real pleasure cooking alongside them”.
The residency will run at Twenty8 NoMad from 15 October 2026 until 15 January 2027.
