More than half of Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s portfolio has been newly built, redesigned or significantly renovated since 2020 as the company continues its Version 2 transformation programme.

The strategy began with Pan Pacific London and PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay Singapore and has since expanded across properties in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Jakarta, Hanoi, Tokyo, Kyoto, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
The programme combines new-build developments and significant renovations with a focus on design, wellbeing, sustainability infrastructure and technology.
Pan Pacific London is among the most prominent examples of the strategy, with the City of London hotel designed by Yabu Pushelberg around contemporary luxury, wellbeing and its connection to the surrounding area.
Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore, which opened in 2023, has subsequently received international recognition including the Prix Versailles and awards from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
Across the wider portfolio, Pan Pacific Hotels Group said Version 2 has introduced stronger connections with nature, expanded wellbeing elements, enhanced environmental infrastructure and technology designed to streamline the guest experience.
The programme will accelerate further across Southeast Asia in 2027, with 10 new-build and major renovation projects planned across the region.
The pipeline includes Pan Pacific Phnom Penh and PARKROYAL Siem Reap in Cambodia.
In Thailand, developments include Siam Pan Pacific Bangkok and Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Thonglor, Bangkok.
Other projects comprise PARKROYAL Hanoi in Vietnam, PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Manila Bay in the Philippines and PARKROYAL Jakarta in Indonesia.
The programme also includes transformations of PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur and PARKROYAL Gurney Bay Penang in Malaysia, alongside PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering in Singapore.
The developments span Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s luxury, upscale and serviced suites segments as the company continues to expand and reposition its portfolio across Asia Pacific.
