Restaurateur Arjun Waney OBE will open Osteria Panzano at 10-12 William Street in Belgravia in mid-November 2026.

Waney, whose restaurant career includes Zuma, ROKA, La Petite Maison, COYA, Oblix and The Arts Club, is returning to the area where he co-founded Zuma with chef Rainer Becker in Knightsbridge in 2002.
Osteria Panzano will take a different approach to a number of Waney’s internationally expanded restaurant concepts, focusing on Tuscan food, Italian wine and a neighbourhood restaurant setting.
The restaurant is backed by family, friends and former colleagues who have worked alongside Waney during his career.
Its name comes from Panzano, a hilltop village in the Chianti region between Florence and Siena. The concept was developed following Waney’s time at his own Tenuta near the village and takes inspiration from the food, produce and dining culture of Tuscany.
The kitchen will be led by Head Chef Paolo Parlanti, a Tuscan from Pistoia with more than 25 years of international hospitality experience across Italy, France, the UK, Kazakhstan and Mexico.
His London career has included positions at Frescobaldi, Il Baretto and The Arts Club, and he has also previously cooked privately for Waney.
The seasonally changing menu will draw on regional Italian cooking, with dishes including ribollita during the colder months, cacio e pepe finished with black truffle, yellowfin tuna tartare with avocado and crispy shallots, and roast turbot with braised herb potatoes.
Whole fish and aged steaks will be cooked over open coals.
An open rotisserie and grill will sit at the centre of the restaurant, with a chef’s table positioned in front of the fire. Chicken and quail will be cooked on the rotisserie, while T-bone steaks will be prepared over the coals.
A dedicated cheese and charcuterie shop will offer Tuscan salumi and regional cheeses for customers to eat in the restaurant or take away.
The wine list will focus predominantly on Italy, with a particular emphasis on Tuscan and Super Tuscan wines, alongside Champagne. The bar will serve cocktails and Italian aperitivi.
The interiors have been designed by London studio Sagrada, led by David D’Almada, using walnut, travertine, forged iron, antique copper and bronze.
A private dining room will sit beneath a brick-vaulted ceiling, while a terrace will provide outdoor dining on William Street.
Arjun Waney OBE, Founder of Osteria Panzano, said: “Food is a journey, and for me that journey has taken me from Japan to Peru, to France and back to London. Having opened restaurants celebrating each of these destinations, Zuma and ROKA for Japan, COYA for Peru and LPM for France, I felt that one important piece was missing: a truly phenomenal Italian restaurant.
“Osteria Panzano is my opportunity to celebrate the food, wine and spirit of Tuscany. I wanted to create a place where people could come together, dine well, enjoy great wine and experience the incredible simplicity and quality of authentic Tuscan ingredients and homegrown produce from the region.
“It’s about bringing that genuine Tuscan experience to London: warm, generous and full of life. I think the restaurant is going to be fantastico!”
