A team of 25 Domino’s colleagues has raised more than £20,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust after taking on an overnight endurance challenge on Snowdon.

The group, made up of colleagues from Domino’s Milton Keynes headquarters, began the challenge at 2am on 11 September and completed a six-hour, nine-mile trek involving more than 3,200 feet of climbing.
Participants had prepared for the challenge through walking, hiking and fitness training in the preceding months, with many attempting a mountain endurance event for the first time.
Strong winds meant the group was unable to complete the final stretch to the summit, but the fundraising effort has generated more than £20,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Funds will support the charity’s work providing specialist nurses, youth workers and hospital units for teenagers and young adults with cancer.
Rachel Townsend, Senior Charities Manager at Domino’s, said: “Taking part in this challenge has been an unforgettable experience. It’s a real testament to our incredible 10-year partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust that 25 colleagues from across the business came together to take on such a demanding challenge in support of the charity.
“The climb was tougher than many of us expected, and while the weather conditions meant we narrowly missed reaching the summit, we’re immensely proud of what we achieved together.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts. Knowing that the money raised will help Teenage Cancer Trust continue its vital work supporting young people with cancer and their families makes every step worthwhile.”
Elena Green, Partnership Manager at Teenage Cancer Trust, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Domino’s and everyone who took part in this year’s Corporate Challenge. The climb was not easy, and every participant showed remarkable determination, teamwork and commitment.
“Thanks to their efforts and the generosity of their supporters, an incredible amount has been raised to help us continue our vital work. We cannot thank everyone enough for taking on this challenge and making such a meaningful difference.”
Domino’s has partnered with Teenage Cancer Trust for more than ten years and has raised over £9.4 million through fundraising initiatives during that period.
