Leukaemia UK’s flagship culinary event ‘Who’s Cooking Dinner?’ is returning with another star-studded line-up.
The event will take place at The Dorchester in London on Monday 14 September, bringing together some of the UK’s most celebrated chefs to raise money for leukaemia research.
Now in its 27th year, ‘Who’s Cooking Dinner?’ is a one-of-a-kind fine dining experience that sees leading chefs from across the UK restaurant scene come together in one kitchen.
Each chef creates, cooks and serves a bespoke menu for their own table of ten guests.
The twist is that guests do not know who is cooking their dinner until the night itself.
For one night only, guests will be served a unique menu from one of 20 celebrated chefs.
With 20 Michelin stars between them, this year’s line-up includes Mark Birchall of Moor Hall, Elliott Grover of The CUT at 45 Park Lane, Matt Abé of Bonheur, Deepak Mallya of The Ritz, Roberta Hall-McCarron of The Little Chartroom and Andy Beynon of BEHIND, with more names to be announced.
Co-founded by Chris Corbin OBE and Peter Gordon ONZM in 1999, the event has built a legacy as both a fundraiser and a platform for British culinary talent.
Over the years, many chefs who first appeared at the event as rising stars have gone on to earn Michelin stars, open acclaimed restaurants and become sought-after names on British menus.
These include Matt Abé, Sam White, Elliott Grover, Tom Barnes, Tom Booton and many more.
Andy Beynon, chef and founder of BEHIND, said: “‘Who’s Cooking Dinner?’ is genuinely one of the best services of the year.
“It’s the kind of night that reminds you why you became a chef in the first place.
“I’m thrilled to be returning.”

The event does not only champion rising stars in the culinary world.
It also supports early career researchers working to stop leukaemia devastating lives.
Every hour, someone in the UK is diagnosed with leukaemia, with 60,000 people currently living with the disease.
Despite medical advances, just half of those diagnosed will survive for longer than five years.
Funds raised at the event go directly to Leukaemia UK to help fund research into better and kinder treatments for leukaemia.
Since they began in 2015, the charity’s John Goldman Fellowships have funded rising stars in science, many of whom have gone on to discover important breakthroughs in leukaemia treatment.
