The Tempus in Northumberland has announced the appointment of Richard Parker as its new General Manager.
Parker joins the award-winning boutique hotel with more than three decades of hospitality leadership experience.
His career has included managing hotels and hospitality operations across the UK, spanning both branded and independent properties.
His experience covers guest experience, team development, operational excellence and commercial performance.
As Hotel General Manager, Parker will oversee all aspects of The Tempus’ operations.
He will lead the team as the hotel continues to build on its reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive boutique hospitality destinations.
Since opening in 2023, The Tempus has become known for its bold design, guest experience, dining offer and distinctive accommodation set within the estate.
The hotel was recently recognised as VisitEngland’s Small Hotel of the Year 2026.
