Dave’s Hot Chicken has opened its first Irish restaurant on Dame Street in Dublin, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s international expansion strategy.

The restaurant introduces Irish consumers to the brand’s Nashville-style hot chicken menu, including chicken tenders and sliders available across a range of spice levels.
Options range from Not Hot to the brand’s Reaper heat level, which requires customers to sign a waiver before ordering.
Ireland represents a compelling growth market for Dave’s Hot Chicken, driven by demand for premium quick-service dining experiences, a vibrant food culture and growing appetite for internationally recognised restaurant concepts.
The brand currently operates 400 stores globally and has opened 12 stores in the UK within 18 months of launch.
The Dublin opening has also created new employment opportunities across restaurant operations and management as the business establishes its presence in Ireland.
Since launching from a parking lot in East Hollywood in 2017, Dave’s Hot Chicken has become one of the restaurant industry’s fastest-growing concepts.
The brand has expanded to hundreds of locations across North America and the Middle East, supported by celebrity investors including Drake, Samuel L Jackson and Usher.
Its arrival in Ireland forms part of a wider strategy to accelerate its presence across Europe.
Jim Attwood, Managing Director at Mind Blowing Chicken, Dave’s Hot Chicken Europe, said: “We see tremendous potential in Ireland as we embark on our European growth journey following the successful launch in the UK over the past 18 months.
“Irish consumers are passionate about great food, and we believe our unique Nashville-style product offering, strong brand identity and proven operating model will resonate strongly in the market.”
The company is actively evaluating opportunities across key urban centres, with Dublin expected to play a central role in its Irish development plans.
Dave’s Hot Chicken intends to open multiple restaurants across Ireland in the coming years, while additional locations in major British and European cities are also being considered as part of its expansion strategy.
The Irish opening further reinforces Dave’s Hot Chicken’s position as one of the fastest-growing restaurant concepts globally, combining a simple, scalable operating model with strong consumer demand and significant brand momentum.
