Crest Hotels Group Brings Nine-Hotel Portfolio into Classic British Hotels Collection

July 7, 2026

Classic British Hotels has announced a major expansion of its curated collection through a new partnership with Crest Hotels Group.

Avisford Park Hotel

All nine properties within the Crest Hotels portfolio have officially joined Classic British Hotels, bringing 674 bedrooms into the collection.

Powered by CBHUB, Classic British Hotels will provide Crest Hotels with global distribution, demand generation and access to its agency and corporate commercial partnerships.

The partnership will be supported by a dedicated commercial team and is designed to deliver sustained long-term growth.

The addition of the Crest Hotels portfolio brings new locations into the Classic British Hotels UK collection, spanning historic manor houses, coastal retreats and business hotels.

The nine properties joining the collection include the Imperial Hotel in Tenby, a 51-bedroom coastal hotel built within the ancient stone fortifications of the town, offering sea views and following a recent £3 million renovation.

The Feathers Hotel in Ludlow is a Grade I listed property originally built in 1619, with 42 bedrooms, a half-timbered Tudor façade and the AA Rosette Plumes restaurant.

The Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod Wells is a historic four-star Welsh resort with 109 bedrooms, a spa and event facilities for up to 300 delegates.

Avisford Park Hotel in Arundel, West Sussex, is set across 60 acres of countryside and features 140 bedrooms, a golf course, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, 15 meeting rooms and health and fitness facilities.

The Tiverton Hotel in Devon is set within two-and-a-half acres of mature gardens and offers 69 bedrooms and banqueting suites for up to 200 guests.

Park House Hotel & Venue in Shifnal, Shropshire, comprises two 17th century country houses and offers 54 bedrooms, wedding and events facilities for up to 300 guests, and access to the Shropshire countryside and Ironbridge Gorge.

Knowsley Inn in Liverpool is an 86-bedroom contemporary hotel located close to major sporting and cultural attractions, including Aintree Racecourse and Liverpool’s football venues.

Almondsbury Inn in Bristol is positioned close to the M4 and M5 corridors and offers 57 recently refurbished rooms for corporate, leisure and transit travellers.

Arnos Manor Hotel in Bristol is an 18th century Georgian manor house close to the city centre, offering 73 rooms and a glass-roofed lounge.

The partnership marks a significant milestone for both brands, bringing together Crest Hotels Group’s independent properties with Classic British Hotels’ distribution, sales and marketing reach.

All nine Crest Hotels properties are now bookable under the CB chain code, with exclusive packages and business travel rates available.

Phillip Allsopp, Managing Director at Classic British Hotels, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Crest Hotels Group into the Classic British Hotels collection. Crest Hotels have been on an exciting journey and we’re delighted to be supporting their evolution by extending distribution across our various platforms that includes our CB private chain code GDS.

“This will open up Crest Hotels to a wider audience, targeting both the domestic and international traveller through our extensive network of preferred agency and corporate partnerships. We very much look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Jason Hiley, Managing Director at Crest Hotels Group, added: “Our mission has always been to build a guest-centric portfolio of hotels that exude personality and character. Aligning our entire collection with Classic British Hotels is the perfect next step for our group.

“It allows us to retain the completely independent identity and unique charm of each property while benefiting from the robust marketing, distribution, and sales reach of a highly respected national brand. We look forward to a brilliant collaboration.”

The move strengthens Classic British Hotels’ national collection while giving Crest Hotels Group wider commercial reach across domestic, international, corporate and agency markets.
