Rosewood Hotel Group have announced the appointment of Kevin Yung as Chief Financial Officer.
With a career that stretches more than 25 years, Yung has knowledge of the Rosewood ecosystem of brands, having spent the past two years at the helm of Rosewood Capital Ventures in the role of Managing Partner. During this time, he also served as a strategic advisor to Rosewood Hotel Group, offering guidance and support across multiple areas of the business.
In his new role as Chief Financial Officer, Yung will oversee the financial operations of the Group’s global brands. He will retain his previous role as Managing Partner of Rosewood Capital Ventures, making him uniquely positioned to optimise the synergies between the two organizations and achieve greater alignment.
Prior to joining Rosewood, Yung held several senior positions within finance and investment. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Chow Tai Fook Education Group (CTFEG) in Hong Kong, where he led the day-to-day management of the Group, set its overall strategy, developed its infrastructure, integrated existing businesses, and acquired two education companies that further expanded the Group’s reach.
He also spent nearly a decade in Beijing establishing his career in finance and investment as a senior executive at both public and private companies inclusive of major real estate funds and financial institutions. He began his career in New York in the principal investment area, first as an associate at Morgan Stanley and later as Vice President at Citigroup.
