By Angela Green, Content Executive: Simon Rimmer confirmed as host of the U Dine Awards.

The U Dine Awards, created to recognise excellence in University Hospitality, have revealed that their awards ceremony will be hosted by Simon Rimmer.
Rimmer is a chef and the co-presenter of Sunday Brunch, the Sunday morning show waking up the nation with a mix of chat, current affairs, guests and food.
Rimmer is also the owner of 14 restaurants in the northwest of England and one in Dubai. Andy Daniels from the U Dine Awards organising team commented on the news saying: “Simon continues to cook in his restaurants every week, which he enjoys immensely, and this keeps him in touch with the culinary trends of the moment. A perfect host for the occasion.”
The U Dine Awards and Conference take place on 20 June at Nottingham Venues at the University of Nottingham. The closing date for entries is Thursday 6 April.
The awards are endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality and Sarah Peters FIH, will be presenting at the U Dine Conference which also takes place on 20 June.
The category winners will embark on a study tour to Barcelona in September.
