The buffet chain COSMO has re-opened its Oxford branch after a two-year closure creating 50 new jobs at the city centre venue.
At the weekend COSMO Oxford welcomed local keyworkers and their families and friends to dine at the restaurant for free, to say thank you for their contributions during the pandemic. COSMO Oxford temporarily closed in March 2020 during the first Covid-19 lock-down and remained shut until now.
The restaurant brings a choice of fresh food via an all you can eat buffet concept. It offers a huge selection of international cuisines with more than 150 dishes on offer covering six cuisines seven days a week.
Suzanne Wink, COSMO head of operations said: “It is fantastic to have re-opened our Oxford branch again and the response has been incredible. We have taken a huge volume of bookings and are enjoying re-engaging with old and new customers. We have added some new dishes to our menu and offer exceptional fresh food in an energetic, luxurious environment.”
COSMO Oxford is renowned for its teppanyaki experts who create an array of dishes in a dazzling food theatre in front of diners via an open-kitchen. It offers an extensive Asian menu, with dishes from nations including India, China and Thailand and classic European dishes, from English carvery to Italian pizza. The dessert menu ranges from traditional British cakes and puddings to delicate pastries.
