The Institute of Hospitality is now taking Four-Ball bookings for their inaugural Golf Day, taking place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort on Thursday 19th May 2022.
The event is the result of a partnership between H&C News and the IoH, which was sparked when IoH CEO Robert Richardson FIH attended The Clink Charity Hospitality Golf Day 2021, in association with Meiko UK earlier this year, also organised by H&C News which raised £4,000 for The Clink Charity.
Robert Richardson FIHRichardson explained: “It is always a joy to attend industry events, especially when taking part benefits others. This event combines a great day of golf at a superb venue, a fantastic dinner and social evening with the chance to raise valuable funds to benefit our industry.
“I look forward to welcoming members of the IoH family to The Belfry to raise funds at this event for the IoH Youth Council, which provides support for young professionals as they set out upon their hospitality careers.
“There has never been a better time to support this work, with talent scarcity in the sector a reality we must face and tackle now and for years to come in order for our industry to thrive. We’re delighted that our friends at Caterer.com and H&C News are partnering with us on this important event and in enabling its delivery.”
Kathy Dyball MIHKathy Dyball MIH, Brand Director, Caterer.com commented: “The IoH is an essential cornerstone for the hospitality sector, with an increasingly diverse audience and the ability to impact the professional development of so many. At a time when the industry is standing up together and moving forward with strength, the IoH is critical.
“Many aren’t aware that the IoH is a charity, and so the funds raised by this golf day will help them deliver ever more relevant resources and help even more people in the sector to progress. Caterer.com are proud to be partnering in this excellent event. It’s always a pleasure to work with the team at H&C News and of course the superb team at IoH. We hope to see you there!”
A Four-Ball Team including a three-course dinner in the evening is £895 +VAT.
