KP and ecologically friendly warewashing

April 28, 2021

Meiko has launched ecologically sensitive warewashing chemicals through a partnership with ECOLAB, the world leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention.

“This is a partnership that brings together two global experts,” says Meiko UK MD Paul Anderson. The MEIKO ACTIVE range has been designed by Meiko, using ECOLAB’s expertise, to provide our customers with the sparkling warewashing results they expect, using the most sustainable formulations possible.”

The MEIKO ACTIVE range minimises the use of chlorine and phosphates and does not use NTA. MEIKO ACTIVE ECO does not use chlorine, phosphates or other harsh contaminants such as NTA and EDTA. It has also achieved the coveted Nordic Swan accreditation, setting the gold standard for ecologically sensitive warewashing. KP’s will know they are doing their bit for sustainability too.
