As the cold winter months edge ever closer, Eyal Jagermann (The Barbary), Billy & Jack (Masterchef 2016) and chef and food writer Alexandra Dudley have teamed up for a one-off supper club to raise funds for homelessness charity StreetSmart. Guests can enjoy a 3-course feast, classic cocktails and some festive cheer, with profits raised going directly to vulnerable and homeless members in the local community.
Food Writer Alexandra DudleyTaking place on Friday 7th December from 7pm at Spitalfields co-working space Benk & Bo, guests will be welcomed with a cocktail, before taking their seat as each chef takes turns to create an exclusive dish, drawing on Middle Eastern influences and flavours.
Co-founder of London’s Best Restaurant 2017 (Timeout), The Barbary head chef Eyal Jagermann will bring his renowned style and flavours to create the starters, before 2016 MasterChef finalists and supper-club aficionados Billy & Jack will take the reins for the main course. Dessert will be the creation of much-loved Land and Sea author and chef Alexandra Dudley, who is the mastermind behind the supper-club event. All courses will be accompanied by an optional wine pairing from Benk & Bo (available at an additional cost).
All chefs have joined forces and kindly given their time, in honour of StreetSmart, raising funds for the 2018 campaign to help the ongoing work to tackle homelessness in the UK. Established in 1997, StreetSmart has raised a total of £8.8 million with the help of restaurants and diners by adding a voluntary £1 to diners’ bills during the festive months, with all proceeds being distributed to charities, hostels and projects that help those living on the streets and in unsuitable accommodation.
