The 22-bedroomed boutique hotel in the heart of Sherborne in Dorset, is proud to announce that is has been awarded a coveted 4-Star Rating by the AA, following an extensive refurbishment and upgrade in service and efficiency under the guidance of legendary hotelier, Peter de Savary, who acquired the hotel in February.
Following an inspection earlier this week, particular note was made of the warmth of atmosphere and strong team spirit; the impressive food standard (a “very strong two rosette level”), excellent restaurant service; professional reception team; good housekeeping and impressive refurbishments.
Dominee Worman, General Manager, praised each valued member of the team for contributing to this accolade.
Owner, Peter de Savary commented: “I am delighted for Dominee and the wonderful team at The Eastbury. They are young, enthusiastic and professional and have improved standards dramatically in a short space of time. This bodes very well for the future and I am excited by what we can achieve once the new Hobbit House Spa and new Potting Shed Garden Suites complete the new-look Eastbury next year. Whilst we now have a four star hotel rating, we aim to offer a friendly five star experience.”
