The multi award winning Derby Brewing Company have brewed a one-off beer called ‘Super Frank IPA’ to welcome Frank Lampard to Derby County Football Club.
Directors Trevor and Paul Harris are dedicated season ticket holders at Pride Park and couldn’t resist paying homage to the new DCFC manager with a special brew.
Second generation director Paul said “Frank Lampard is a legendary footballer and we are confident he will help Derby to achieve great things this season in his first management role. He’s got us off to a great start with a win against Reading and we couldn’t resist doing what we do best and brewing a beer in his honour.”
Super Frank IPA is made using the finest English malts and dry hopped with Centennial hops to produce a light and refreshing India Pale Ale, at 4.8% ABV (a nod to Lampard’s legendary number 8).
Derby Brewing Company produces a core range of ales and craft beers, most of which have won prestigious industry awards. They also brew one-off beers each month which explore malt and hops combinations to push the boundaries of taste and experience. The brewery have become well known for producing beers in reference to popular culture including ‘Beast from the Yeast’ which was brewed during the March blizzards; ‘Russian Roulette’ brewed for the 2018 World Cup; and ‘5 Hop’ brewed for the Olympics.
