As a long and dreary winter draws to a close, it’s time to raise a toast to the longer days and impending spring / summer nights as a new season dawns at The Prince.
Having taken a former pub and four disused connecting buildings on West Brompton Crossing, the masterminds behind Pergola On the Roof and Pergola Paddington Central have transformed this neglected street into one of the capitals most inventive food, drink and social experiences. Now it embarks upon its latest and most exciting metamorphosis.
On 12th April, The Prince will once again open its doors having undergone a complete spring / summer overhaul. A feast for the senses, The Prince will once again host three extraordinary bars and four exciting restaurants – including new additions especially for summer. The woodland garden, connecting the bar and restaurants, will be transformed into a beautiful summer English garden with two roofs – one retractable and one that’s clear – bringing the sunshine in and keeping the rain out. There will be no better place to while away a summer’s day and night.
Eat, drink and party in London’s largest pub garden. This will be alfresco drinking and dining at its best.
Returning after a successful winter, burger legends Patty & Bun and Thai favourites Begging Bowl will resume their usual spots at The Prince, joined by two newcomers – Coqfighter, who will be serving crispy fried chicken; and Foley’s Bar & Yakitori Grill, serving bao buns and grilled meats.
After picking up a bite to eat and a drink from the bar, guests can venture through to The Prince’s best kept secret. Its huge secret garden. Found only through a small door at the back of each restaurant and the pub, the garden will be fit to burst with natural light and floral splendour. White-washed wood and decking will lead down into the main garden area that will be situated underneath a beautiful pergola adorned with hydrangeas and wisteria.
Especially for the summer launch, The Prince is also offering guests the chance to sign up on their website to receive a FREE frozen margarita. Or follow and like their posts on Instagram to be in with the chance of WINNING a magnum of prosecco – they will be picking a few winners a week!
Whether an unusual location for after-work sundowners, a stunning spot for a romantic date or somewhere truly unique to celebrate a special occasion, The Prince has everything covered. Open seven days a week, there will be free bookings for up to 199 people. Guests are invited to stay at The Prince for as long as they wish to soak up the sun with a bespoke cocktail in hand.
The Prince is set to become one of the capital’s coolest summer hangouts. Sounds ambitious? It is: this isn’t your average food and drink joint, it’s a sensory destination that must be seen to be believed.
