Specialist beer and wine importer Morgenrot is running a bespoke trade tasting event at Block Bar in Brighton this spring.
The event named ‘Project Block’ will take place on the 27th March and will comprise of a trade-only tasting from 12 noon until 5pm, with the lively bar then being opened up to consumers for an evening tap takeover and pre-Easter party.
Showcasing a wide selection of craft and world beers, wines, sparklings and sherries, lucky trade visitors will also have the chance to win trip for two to Rioja to visit the Cervecera Artesana brewery, which produces the highly-acclaimed Palax craft lager.
A selection of stunning tapas will also be provided and matched with drinks during the trade tasting.
Morgenrot’s Commercial Director John Critchley explains:
After exhibiting at extensive trade events during the last few years, we wanted to do something a little but differently in 2018. The idea is to run a series of interactive events in different parts of the UK where we can speak directly to the trade, support our routes to market and most importantly bring our brands to life.”
The event will feature craft beer brands such as Pang Pang from Sweden, Palax, La Pirata and BeerCat from Spain plus Mala Gissona from the Basque Country, in addition to world beers from the likes of Krombacher, Quilmes, Sleemans and Windhoek.
John Critchley continued:
In addition to driving trial and increasing stockists of our formidable beer line up, the events will also be important in increasing distribution and awareness of our growing wine portfolio outside of the north-west.”
