The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle welcomes to its senior team Mylo Mahon as Operations Manager.
Joining from the renowned Gidleigh Park in Devon, where he spent the last two years as part of the senior management team. Speaking of his new role Mylo said: “I am thrilled to be joining The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle, a truly unique destination founded upon the epitome of hospitality in a magical location. This is a dream position for me and I’m delighted to be joining a fantastic and experienced team.”
Mylo started his career in customer relationship management in London, however his passion for hospitality and the great outdoors took him to working in restaurants across The Swiss Alps, prior to obtaining a Master’s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality. Since then he has run a number of luxury 5* Chalets in the French Alps, before settling back in London in 2012 to work on the Olympic Games.
His passion for the countryside took hold once more when he joined the team at Gidleigh Park, Devon in 2016, a time at which the iconic Country House Hotel celebrated its 2 Michelin stars and 5 red stars with the AA.
Speaking of the newest addition to the team, Peter Crome, Chairman of the Carnegie Club said, “Mylo will be joining us at the end of February and we look forward to him becoming a key member of this team and taking the club to even higher levels of quality and service”.
