La Hechicera, the most awarded super-premium rum brand from Colombia, approaches its fifth anniversary with distribution success in 25 international markets. Its dry, smooth and crisp taste profile has established listings for the brand in luxury bars and stores in the UK and beyond, and opened doors at prestigious retailers, such as Harrods in London and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. La Hechicera [Spanish for enchantress] now launches in the highly competitive US market, partnering with Phillips Distilling Company, one of the most innovative and enduring distilled spirits companies in North America.
The brand launched in 2012 in the UK as its first market – when the growth of luxury rum was starting to impact on consumers. Today, La Hechicera celebrates with a new custom glass bottle, with its brand name engraved across the shoulder of the bottle, and a new label emphasizing for the first time its age statement: Solera 21 Reserva Familiar. This will help consumers better understand La Hechicera’s quality, provenance and family legacy as the only independent rum producer in Colombia. This presentation will be available from August.
