On Sunday evening on 21st May 2017 the BII Scotland held their annual awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow.
More than 360 of the brightest and best in Scotland donned their finest and attended the event which celebrated the best operators and individuals in the Licensed Hospitality industry in Scotland. There were a total of nine awards categories and winners, as follows:
Bar Personality of the Year: David Craig, Gin 71
Best Spirits Bar: The Square Bar and Kitchen, Crieff
Best Cask and Craft Beer Bar: six°north, Glasgow
Best Operator for Training: Dishoom, Edinburgh
Best Food Operator: Kained Holdings’ Porter and Rye, Glasgow
Best New Initiative: Harry’s Bar, Edinburgh
Best New Operator: Shilling Brewing Co., Glasgow
Best Venue for Families: The Kelbourne Saint
Best Multiple Operator: Montpeliers, Edinburgh
