Nothing conjures up the season of giving more than the warmth of sharing a delicious meal with family and friends. PAUL wants to help those less fortunate put food on the table this Christmas by working in partnership with The Felix Project and donating 50p for each loaf of bread sold (400g or larger) from 12th December – 15th January 2017.
The Felix Project distributes London’s surplus fresh food, which would otherwise go to waste, to feed the homeless, those living in poverty and families struggling to get by. PAUL currently donates unsold products to the charity on a daily basis, and is delighted to expand this partnership by inviting customers to support the Sharing our Daily Bread initiative.
CEO of PAUL UK Jean-Michel Orieux comments: “Our ongoing partnership with The Felix Project ensures that fresh food left at the end of each day is put to good use by feeding those who will enjoy it and really need it. With this new initiative, we will also donate 50p from every 400g or larger loaf of bread purchased in our shops and online at paul-uk.com until 15 January in the hope of helping even more people benefit from being warm and fed this winter.”
Baking bread since 1889, PAUL’s philosophy is simple: excellent bread depends on excellent ingredients and time-honoured methods of production. All PAUL bread is made using traditional French recipes, baked with time and care, fresh every day in the ovens of PAUL bakeries across London and beyond, ready to be enjoyed at its best.
