Red Tractor-certified artisan bakers Speciality Breads has launched #XmasStreet – a competition to find the most innovative festive themed street food creation of 2016.
Challenging the UK’s vibrant street food sector to make it a festive period to remember, vendors are being asked to create a signature dish they think showcases the best of street food and Christmas.
To enter a dish in to #XmasStreet, vendors simply need to tweet a picture, name and description of their festive creation to @SpecialBreads and @StreetFoodNews with the hashtag #XmasStreet by the 16th December.
The winner will be chosen jointly by Street Food News founder James Snow and Speciality Breads MD Simon Cannell with a Kanga Box filled with wine being given away as the winning prize.
To assist in dish development, Speciality Breads are offering the first 20 vendors who register their interest with alan@specialitybreads.co.uk a special sample box of bread – perfect for the street food sector and some pre-festive kitchen testing.
