The award-winning restaurant chain, TGI Fridays, is not only celebrating 30 years in the UK this year, but also the opening of its 75th restaurant in the popular Stevenage Leisure Park in mid-April. The restaurant will seat up to 210 guests at one time and will bring 85 new job opportunities to the local area.
The focal point of the new restaurant will be the square standalone ‘island’ bar, where TGI Fridays expert bartenders will be showing off their skills, and creating some delicious drinks from the legendary 100-strong cocktail range. What’s more the new Fridays, inspired by the fun, vibrant aesthetics of the flagship restaurant in London’s Leicester Square, will feature a stunning open kitchen where guests can see their food being cooked to perfection before their eyes by skilled Fridays chefs.
Whether would-be members of the team are looking to create fantastic food in the kitchen, try their hand at flairing behind the bar, or work their magic with guests on the restaurant floor, Fridays are recruiting for roles across a variety of levels, with opportunities for individuals to significantly progress their career in the hospitality industry. David Carroll, Property Director for TGI Fridays UK, said: “We’re thrilled to be celebrating this huge milestone for Fridays by welcoming our 75th restaurant to the UK, located in the extremely popular Stevenage Leisure Park. We have been inundated with enquiries from guests who are extremely excited about the highly anticipated opening, and we can’t wait for them to be able to enjoy that Fridays feeling in their hometown soon.”
