We teamed up with Villeroy & Boch recently to find out which restaurants are our reader’s favourites? We asked readers to vote on Facebook and Twitter and tell us their favourite restaurant, and they did. In fact the amount of detail provided was beyond what we expected as was the volume of replies, so thanks to all.
The responses can be seen on Facebook and Twitter and to summarise were, British, British, and British. The restaurants mentioned came from almost every sector including fine dining, casual dining, and pubs and in almost 50% of instances all were serving a predominantly British menu.
This was followed by Italian, and the popular food types were steak and seafood.
The data will be studied more closely in the months ahead and reported on further, we may also repeat the ‘My Favourite Restaurant’ social media survey too to add more depth. If you want to add your view just head over to Facebook and/or Twitter and tell us about your favourite restaurant.
