Cedar Court Hotels, Yorkshire’s leading independent hotel group, has appointed Tracey Ractliffe as the company’s Sales and Marketing Director.
Tracey will be responsible for leading Cedar Court’s overall sales and marketing strategy, overseeing all aspects of marketing, strategic business partnerships and sales. She will manage a central team of four people plus the hotel based sales, conference and revenue teams.
Tracey joins Cedar Court from working as a consultant in the hotel industry since the start of the year and was previously Sales and Marketing Director of Menzies Hotels for four years. Other senior appointments have included Heythrop Park Resort incorporating the brand new Crowne Plaza, which offered a total delegate capacity for 2000 people, and Principal Hayley Group.
Commenting on the new appointment, Mathew Griffin, Chief Operating Officer said: “Tracey brings a formidable track record with a strong sales focus to Cedar Court Hotels and will be an asset to the management team. Her knowledge of the industry, the opportunities there are to grow the business and her ability to lead a successful team will be invaluable as we look to capitalise on last year’s growth.”

A graduate of St Andrews University in French with International Relations Tracey is a keen skier, cyclist and runner.
The four star Cedar Court Hotels group is celebrating its 30th anniversary since opening its first hotel in Wakefield. The three other hotels are at Leeds/Bradford, Huddersfield/Halifax and Harrogate.
