Two exciting concept restaurants will be opening their doors in Carnaby’s new food and dining destination Kingly Court: Greek restaurant The Life Goddess, experimental divine, is set to bring a slice of the Mediterranean to Carnaby, while Señor Ceviche will celebrate the best of Peruvian cuisine, cocktails and culture.
The Life Goddess and Señor Ceviche join a raft of new openings including Pizza Pilgrims Pizzeria and Frigittoria, American diner Stax, Japanese ramen bar Shoryu Carnaby, healthy deli The Detox Kitchen, and yoga cafe Retreat Café. They bring Kingly Court’s total of bars and food retailers to nineteen, with nine different cuisines.
The Life Goddess
The Life Goddess’ 800 sq ft restaurant will be serving up their signature home-style Greek cuisine, made from the freshest authentic ingredients and prepared using traditional cooking methods.
Customers can enjoy mouth-watering appetizers, salads and main coursesin the 40 seater restaurant overlooking Kingly Court’s courtyard. Menu highlights are the moussaka, gigantes plaki and tomato and caper salad. All dishes are made with fresh fruits and vegetables ripened under the Greek sunlight, meat and poultry reared by local farmers and fish sourced using traditional environmental friendly methods.
There is also a deli which sells over 300 specialist and signature groceries, all sourced from the finest artisan Greek produces and handmade to unique recipes. Customers can spice up their store cupboards with the organic tangerine marmalade, wild truffle carpaccio or just some essential Greek herbs and flavours.
Señor Ceviche
Señor Ceviche is the hot, new, fun destination on the Peruvian block. At their 1,250 sq ft, 80 seater restaurant they will serve zingy ceviches, vibrant super salads and smoky barbecued meats.
The menu showcases the best of Peruvian cuisine with an eclectic London twist, alongside a drinks list that includes pisco cocktails, Peruvian beer and South American wines. The restaurant will serve Pisco 1615 and drinks exclusive to Señor Ceviche.
The interior design is based on Lima’s market life and colonial architecture. Chicha – Peruvian street art – is a big focus, with a Chica wall covered in posters that have been hand printed in the shanty towns, along with Chica art on hand-made plates. Señor Ceviche supports the charity and families that create the eye-catching artworks, which feature hand drawn lettering and fluro inks.
