The past few months have seen Marcus Wareing and a skilled team of craftsmen busy transforming his home of the last ten years at the Berkeley Hotel into a stunning new, contemporary space that is now open.
The new Marcus
Stripping away the formalities and barriers that are commonly associated with top-end dining, the new Marcus offers guests an all-new, accessible, Michelin-starred dining experience in a modern and relaxed environment.
With comfort, style and a vibe of cool sophistication at the heart of the design, Robert Angell Design International have masterfully paired contemporary classicism with timeless elegance to create a space in which Marcus Wareing and his team can excite and delight their guests.
The Food
Marcus Wareing will still be at the helm, working closely with Head Chef Mark Froydenlund. The heart of the food remains the same: delivering modern European menus with British influence using the highest quality produce, creative thought and exacting execution.
New to the menu will be the option of ordering just one course at lunch (from £12), while à la carte starts at £60 for two courses, £85 for three and £100 for four. The 8 course Taste menu starts from £115.
The Service
Led by Restaurant Manager Daniel Greenock, the formalities of top-end dining are out and in their place will be an engaging, knowledgeable, passionate and skilful service, delivering the very best hospitality.
