The Cook Live event on Tuesday 19th March at Equipline’s extensive kitchen demonstration facilities in Uxbridge saw a wide range of visitors arrive with an even wider range of catering questions for the team.
Equip Line is always conscious that customer time is precious and as such packs as much as possible into the short 3 hour Cook Live Open House window; each month the working equipment line-up changes.
The March Open House featured a working Beech Oven for the Goan Lamb Curry, Char-grilled Thai steaks, and hand-made Rustic Pizzas, a Berto’s restaurant size 800mm wide Landscape Pot Fish Fryer producing great Tempura Beer Battered Fish and Vegetables, and the Pop-Up Café Pod with spiced rice, coleslaw, Pea Soup & Croutons, fresh hand-made Quiches and much more.
Equip Line’s team were kept busy demonstration cooking and answering questions from contract caterers, end user customers, journalists, and manufacturers.
The next Cook Live Open House on 23rd April will feature both large production Rotisseries (cooking a small Hog Roast!) and smaller 13amp Rotisseries roasting whole Chickens & portions, Jacket Potatoes, and Sweet Corn, with Colcannon Potatoes and Gravy from the Hot Deli counters, and large production Bakery Ovens – and smaller 13amp Bake Off ovens, together with the award winning Pop-Up Café Pod’.
