The Scottish Restaurant Awards 2013 take place at the beginning of June 2013 and recognise the outstanding creativity, customer service and top quality dining that is on offer throughout Scotland. The awards celebrate and reward Scotland’s very best restaurants in their field across 12 categories.
Last year’s Chef of the Year, Jeff Bland commented:
“The Scottish Restaurant Awards inspire our industry to strive for higher standards, and put not only our restaurant on the map but the Scottish food industry itself. The amount of work this industry does towards helping the Scottish economy can often be underestimated, I am glad we have these awards to recognise the work we are all doing across the board.”
Nominations for 2013 are open between Wednesday 20th February and Friday 22nd March.
Categories for 2013
You may nominate a restaurant in more than one category however the event organisers reserve the right to assign nominations to a category they believe is more suitable to the nomination. Restaurants eligible for the Newcomer of the Year must have been trading for a maximum of 12 months at the date of the event.
