Tom and Beth Kerridge from the Hand and Flowers, Marlow were crowned for the second year as the Top Gastropub at the Budweiser Budvar Top 50 Gastropub Awards 2013.
The pub made history in 2011 as the first to win two Michelin stars and has a seven-month wait for a Saturday night table
The awards which are now in their fifth year, have established themselves as the leading event for the premium end of the UK food-led pub trade and are based on the results of a poll of top experts.
The Crazy Bear Hotel, Stadhampton played host to the Budweiser Budvar Top 50 Gastropubs, which were attended by the leading lights of the Gastropub sector.
Tom Kerridge of the Hand & Flowers in Marlow, Buckinghamshire said:
“To win the award was a tremendous achievement by the whole team at the Hand & Flowers and one that myself and my wife, Beth were blown away by. It has given a massive boost to staff morale and helps create publicity and customer interest.”
