Saturday 1 September will be a particularly busy day for 10 Flintshire pubs, who have joined forces to their mutual benefit and, no doubt, to the benefit of hotels and guest houses in the area. Take a look: with imagination and co-operation, this could be a model for venues in many parts of the country.
Brain wave of the Flintshire Tourism Association
The Real Ale Trail was born in 2010 – the brain wave of the Flintshire Tourism Association. Whilst real ale enthusiasts have always visited Flintshire’s fantastic pubs for their quality ales and foods… the problem was the designated driver couldn’t join in.
The Real Ale Trail solves the problem…with buses! Now, buses run every 30 minutes from 11am – 11pm on Saturday 1 September 2012, and The Real Ale Trail bus pass costs just £5 if bought in advance, or £10 on the day and can be purchased from any of the 10 participating pubs. Our great pubs put on fantastic guest ales, home -cooked food and entertainment.
What more do you want out of a day? Fine ale, fine pubs, fine food and no driving!
