Acting on behalf of Joint Administrators Mark Wilson and Matthew Wild of Baker Tilly, Christie + Co’s London Bars & Restaurants team is marketing the leasehold interest of Diva Beach, the boutique bar and nightclub, located in the heart of Chelsea, London.
Situated in Fulham Road, the basement unit has been operating as a nightclub for the past 20 years, with the current owners having opened the Diva Beach cocktail bar and nightclub 18 months ago.
Inspired by Miami’s infamous South Beach club scene and drawing on influences from the city’s 1930s art-deco style, the new owners have created a stylish, luxury, late-night venue with a maximum capacity of 120.
The business, which is licensed to trade until 3am Friday-Saturday and 2am during the rest if the week, includes a main club area, champagne room, VIP booths and a living room-styled area where movies can be screened.
Attracting a good client base, the club has been used by MTV and T4 for broadcasts, while numerous celebrities have been photographed leaving the venue after a night out.
Offers in the region of £150,000 are sought for the leasehold interest of the property, which is held on a 25-year lease from 5 September 2005, with a passing rent of £80,000 per annum.
Barry Fitzgerald, from Christie + Co’s London Bars & Restaurants team, said: “Refurbished to a very high standard, Diva Beach is in excellent condition and is ready for the right operator to open the doors and start trading immediately. This is one of the most lavishly appointed clubs in central London and therefore we expect high levels of interest.”
