Cuisson has brought its Michelin-trained chefs and innovative cooking techniques to Borough Market for the newest POPdown, an Asian inspired interactive pop-up restaurant and dining experience running until January 2017.
Taking over two stunning floors on the corner of Cathedral Street, overlooking the hustle and bustle of London’s most exciting food market, Cuisson’s POPdown will feature three rooms of culinary theatre. From Japanese small plates and cocktails and snacks to a 5-course tasting menu and multi-sensory video menu, the offering at POPdown at Borough Market will be experiential dining at its finest.
Located on the ground floor of the venue is Cuisson’s very own Ikigai bar, which lives and breathes by the Japanese philosophy “a reason for being.” Craft beers and wines as well as bespoke cocktails designed by Cuisson’s head bartender will be available alongside inventive small dishes and bar snacks, which aim to showcase and highlight the very best of Borough Market.
Those looking for the full Cuisson experience can enjoy an Asian style seasonal 5 course-tasting menu, inspired by the market traders and their produce. To complement the dining experience, guests can take their pick from a list of carefully selected wines and cocktails. For those looking for a more intimate setting, a private dining room is available for hire for up to 20 guests.
