Yesterday’s Open Kitchen Live once again saw chef busy serving up solutions for attendees. Restaurants as always were well represented and a new burrito concept was examined in some detail with quite a few ingredient twists challenging chef on the day.
How to produce and serve 200 hot breakfasts at the same time to school children was also put to the test. With results that not only demonstrated exactly how, but providing menu alternatives just from serving the same items differently.
As always plenty of food was served including breakfast/brunch muffin stacks with sausage, bacon, mushroom, egg, tomato and hash browns, lamb koftas, pan fried sea bream, skewers of mixed seafood, skewers of spicy Indian chicken pieces, roast brisket of beef and roast pork. There was also dauphinoise potatoes, naan bread, vegetable pitta bread and a wide range of sauces, dips and salad to accompany.
Open Kitchen Live brings restaurateurs, hoteliers, caterers, publicans, chefs, university and event caterers as well as consultants and their clients together to…meet our chefs to discuss your ideas for new menu options and enjoy them being served to you on the day.
Just outside of London we are very close to both the M40 and M25 and depending which way you are coming less than a 10 minute drive from the nearest exits. Once you arrive there is plenty of parking available in our car park.
If travelling by train we are close to Uxbridge tube station on the London Underground network. We are always happy to send a car to collect visitors on arrival and drop you back when your Open Kitchen Live visit is finished.
