Unilever Food Solutions has launched a new monthly ‘spot the ball’ competition for pubs, adding to the excitement of this summer’s sizzling selection of sports.
Kicking off with footie theme
The competition kicks off this month with a footie theme. To enter, pub operators must locate the hidden football on the Unilever Food Solutions’ pub website at www.ufs.com/pubs and email in a screen grab, description or photo of its location by the closing date of 31 July. Winners will be picked at random from the entrants, and will win £100 Love2shop vouchers and a basket of UFS pub ingredients.
The monthly competition follows a sporting theme, with the theme each month changing to coincide with major football, tennis, cricket and golfing tournaments.
Injecting fun into the UFS pub website
Chris Brown, UFS channel trade marketing manager, said: “The summer’s sporting tournaments may not have got off to the best of starts with our performance in the football, tennis and cricket, but we’re determined to help keep a stiff upper lip.
“With our new Spot the Ball competition we’re injecting some fun into our new pub website, which features advice, inspiration and menu ideas to help operators make the most of their menus. There are some great prizes on offer for pubs as part of Spot the Ball, which operators can spend themselves or use to treat their staff.”
