Celebrity chef and restaurateur Marco Pierre White has announced plans to open a new central London restaurant next month. Marco’s New York Italian will be situated within the Mercure London Bridge hotel and will be the tenth new opening this year for his Black & White Hospitality business.
The family-friendly eatery is expected to open in December following a £200,000 refurbishment, and guests will be able to choose from a broad range of dishes, from the signature sharing boards to Yellowfin Tuna a la Napoli and American classics such as Hickory Smoked Ribs and the Great American beef burger.
Enjoy with friends and family
Marco said: “The essence of my New York Italian concept is the belief that high quality food should be an experience that is shared and enjoyed with friends and family, whatever the occasion.
“Our new London Bridge restaurant will be among the first to serve our new menu, which is absolutely brimming with delightful choices that will offer something for every palate and wallet, all served in relaxed yet elegant surroundings.”
When this latest venue opens, it will become the 11th Marco’s New York Italian in the UK and will be the fourth to be introduced at a Mercure hotel, following in the footsteps of Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Leicester.
Jonathan Sheard, SVP Operations Luxury, Upscale and Midscale Accorhotels UK and Ireland, said: “Our guests at Mercure demand a certain level of warm, understated elegance, coupled with the certainty that comes from an internationally recognised brand; that’s why Marco’s New York Italian is a perfect fit.”
