The Grand Brighton has appointed Michael Cloke as its new Director of Sales, further strengthening the management team at the iconic seafront hotel.
Michael has worked within the hospitality industry for 20 years and joins The Grand with a wealth of experience following his most recent role as Director of Sales and Marketing at London Marriott Hotel Regents Park. Previous to this, Michael held senior management positions with De Vere Venues and Macdonald Hotels.
Responsibilities in his new role will include proactively driving revenue and footfall across all the facilities at the venue including ‘The Sp@ at The Grand’ and the GB1 Seafood Restaurant. Alongside this, Michael will be pivotal in identifying and targeting key commercial opportunities for the hotel.

As we gear up for the festive season, it is great to know Michael will be a driving force ahead of the Christmas period and looking towards 2015.”
The appointment comes at an exciting time for the hotel as there are a series of events lined-up, including the popular Christmas lights switch-on which is taking place on 26 November 2014.
