Over 200 guests celebrated the 10th anniversary of the opening of one of the South West’s most popular hotels.
Taking place at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House the event was attended by Lord Jeffrey Archer, John Penrose MP and The Mayor of Weston Super Mare, Councillor Jos Holder, all of whom cut the ribbon to officially open the brand new state-of-the-art reception.
Bought by current owner Nick Taplin in 2003, Cadbury House has benefitted from an investment approaching £30 million and included the building of the four-star, boutique-style hotel in 2007.
Since then it has gone from strength to strength, becoming the go to venue for meetings, conferences, wedding, events and quality rooms, while the new reception boasts a feature living wall and arguably the best views of the North Somerset countryside.
Owner Nick Taplin said: “It’s been an incredible journey. Being from the local area Cadbury House will always be my spiritual home as this is where it all started. To have so many close family, friends and colleagues here to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the hotel opening was a fantastic way to top off this first decade.
“We’ll never stop investing and improving what is already a fantastic offer and we have great plans to cement Cadbury House’s reputation as being a real force in hospitality across the South West.”
