On Sunday 27th November, Arabica Bar & Kitchen, one of Borough Market’s most exciting venues, will be hosting a Syrian inspired sharing-style lunchtime feast in support of #CookForSyria in aid of Unicef’s Children of Syria Fund.
The lunchtime feast will run from 1pm to 4.30pm, with tickets available for a minimum donation of £50. Tickets will include a welcome cocktail, wines from Syria, a selection of cold and hot mezze dishes, followed by a choice of main course and a selection of Levantine pastries for dessert. The afternoon will also involve a raffle and auction including some fantastic gifts for food lovers. Prizes include: 6 fine Lebanese wines accompanied by a signed copy of Wines of Lebanon by Michael Karam, a selection of French Cheeses from highly regarded Mons Cheese based in Borough Market and a fantastic Borough Market Hamper.
#CookForSyria is a month-long celebration of Syrian cuisine to raise funds and awareness for the greatest humanitarian crisis of our generation. It is curated by Clerkenwell Boy in collaboration with SUITCASE Magazine, Gemma Bell PR and Unicef NEXT Generation London. The initiative will kick-off with a banquet on Monday 31st October and will then run throughout November.
Arabica founder, James Walters, comments: “We are very proud to be hosting this Syrian feast and help bring people together in aid of this great cause.”
