Signature Bellinis and fresh Italian coffee is the order of the day at the Mailbox this week, as Marco Pierre White becomes the latest brand to open at Birmingham’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination.
Having launched on Tuesday 19th April from a stylish vintage van within the Mailbox’s Urban Room, the new Marco Pierre White Bardolino Bellini and Espresso Bar will be serving a range of coffees, hot chocolates, Prosecco and three signature Marco Bellinis. The bar will be open seven days a week from breakfast through to early evening.
Featuring luxurious seating and finishes, a glass sky-lit roof and sleek store frontages, this latest addition to the Mailbox’s Urban Room makes it the ideal setting for informal meetings and for shoppers to relax and unwind.
David Pardoe, head of marketing, retail and tenant engagement at the Mailbox, said: “The Urban Room is truly unique space, and Marco Pierre White’s Bardolino Bellini and Espresso Bar gives our visitors an extra reason to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings.”
Jon Peek, from Marco Pierre White Restaurants, said: “Bardolino is a brand new concept for us, so we’re really excited to bring a taster to the Mailbox ahead of the full restaurant launches in both Birmingham and Bristol this summer.”
With a host of new openings lined up throughout 2016, there’s never been a better time to visit the Mailbox. Following the brand new Armani Collezioni store in January, the Mailbox will soon be home to world-class interior design, with the arrival of Kitchen Gallery’s flagship showroom, and the first AC Hotel in the UK when its doors open in May.
Kitchen Gallery is the largest exclusive SieMatic dealer in the Midlands, delivering bespoke luxury kitchens with a sleek European twist. Featuring appliances by leading brands including Siemens and Gaggenau, as well as designer furniture and lighting, the showroom will be a focal point for architects, developers, designers and individual clients.
AC Hotels is a design-led lifestyle brand within Marriott International’s global portfolio. Currently operating over 90 sites across Europe and North America, AC Hotels combine sophisticated European style with a contemporary feel for both business and leisure customers. Replacing the previous Ramada Hotel, which closed in January, AC Hotels is being completely refurbished and will feature 90 stylish guest rooms, boasting every day comforts combined with modern technologies.
