Zula Burger is to open its second London restaurant in Spitalfields on 1 November as the Istanbul-founded burger brand continues its UK expansion.

Located close to Spitalfields Market, the new restaurant follows the opening of Zula’s London flagship in Marble Arch.
The Spitalfields site will introduce a fast-service format designed around the location while retaining the brand’s chef-led approach to its menu.
Zula Burger was founded in Istanbul in 2017 by chef Cihan Kıpçak and has subsequently expanded across Turkey and into London.
The name derives from the Turkish word for ‘hidden corner’, with the concept combining Kıpçak’s fine-dining background with a street food format.
The Spitalfields menu will include Zula’s established burgers alongside a new Wagyu Burger developed specifically for the restaurant.
The Wagyu Burger combines a Wagyu beef patty with double cheddar, French mayo, sambal, black pepper, gherkin and onion in a house-baked brioche bun.
Established dishes will include The Basic, comprising cheddar, caramelised onion, pickle relish and house-made truffle mayo.
The B.I.G. adds a second patty and mustard sauce, while The Fake Mac combines shredded lettuce with Mac sauce.
The opening will also introduce an updated visual identity for Zula, developed in collaboration with designer Annabel Colterjohn.
The restaurant will combine metallic finishes with natural wood and the brand’s vermillion orange, alongside a streamlined ordering counter.
Its compact layout has been designed primarily for takeaway trade, particularly office workers and visitors to Spitalfields, while bar seating will also be available.
Kıpçak previously worked within Michelin-starred restaurants and served as Executive Chef at Spago Istanbul, where he developed the original idea for Zula Burger.
The brand has also operated a guest chef collaboration series during 2026, with chefs including Elliot Hashtroudi, Lorcan Spiteri, Eric Wan, Rahel Stephanie and Ana Ortiz creating limited-edition burgers.
Zula’s brioche buns are baked in-house daily, while beef is sourced from British supplier Aubrey Allen and sauces are also produced in-house.
Cihan says, “A great burger is all about balance. Every ingredient matters, and none should overpower another. This begins with the bun; bread is so simple, but it needs to be treated with the same care as the beef or sauce.”
Managing Director, Kaan Yildirim, says, “As a brand, it’s super exciting to be bringing Zula right next to one of the city’s most iconic markets and into the heart of East London’s thriving burger scene. Zula Spitalfields places the brand’s already much-loved burgers into a new format and a design that fully embraces East London’s edge.”
Zula Spitalfields will open on 1 November, joining Zula Marble Arch as the brand’s second London location.
