Urban Pubs & Bars is to open its third Bat & Ball venue in London following a £1 million investment in the former BrewDog Tower Hill site.

Bat & Ball City will open on 25 November and join the brand’s existing venues in Stratford and Covent Garden.
The new opening will also introduce a refreshed format for Bat & Ball, combining a more premium pub environment with live sport, food, drink and entertainment.
The 8,500 sq ft venue occupies a neo-Gothic building in Tower Hill that was previously home to BrewDog’s first UK brewpub, which opened in May 2018.
Urban Pubs & Bars will invest £1 million in transforming the site for its new use.
The venue is being designed to accommodate a range of occasions, including after-work drinks, smaller gatherings, corporate events and Christmas parties.
Chris Hill, CEO of Urban Pubs & Bars, said: “We are excited to grow the footprint of Bat & Ball in London with another iconic location. This represents another flagship venue for the brand and an opportunity to bring our unique experience-led proposition to the heart of the City.”
Urban Pubs & Bars was founded in 2014 by Nick Pring and Malc Heap and has grown its estate to more than 70 venues across London.
The opening of Bat & Ball City forms part of the group’s continued investment in experience-led hospitality across the capital.
