Six by Nico has reopened its flagship London restaurant in Fitzrovia following a major refurbishment.

Located on Charlotte Street, the restaurant was Six by Nico’s first London site when it opened in 2020.
The refurbishment has replaced the previous industrial-style interiors with a warmer design incorporating neutral tones, deep reds, darker accents, new furniture, upholstery, artwork and lighting.
The open kitchen remains central to the restaurant, while an expanded outdoor terrace and new walk-in bar introduce additional ways to use the venue.
Opening directly onto the terrace overlooking Charlotte Street, the bar can be visited without a restaurant reservation and will serve drinks and cocktails independently of the six-course tasting menu.
The reopening comes as Six by Nico continues to develop its wider restaurant portfolio, growing from five restaurants in 2020 to 15 in 2026.
The group currently operates two London restaurants, in Fitzrovia and Canary Wharf.
Nico Simeone, Founder of Six by Nico, said: “We can’t wait to welcome visitors back to Six by Nico Fitzrovia, our flagship London restaurant. The refurbishment brings some of that newer, warmer feel to the original London site, while keeping the open kitchen, changing menus and theatrical side of Six by Nico at its centre.
“The introduction of the walk-in bar creates a completely new way to experience Six by Nico in London. Guests no longer necessarily need to be joining us for the full six-course experience to visit. The bar can be used for a drink before dinner, cocktails with friends or as a stop during a night out in Fitzrovia, with no reservation required.”
The first six-week menu following the reopening is American Murder Mystery, an interactive dining experience running on selected dates from 5 October until 15 November 2026.
The six-course tasting menu is inspired by American comfort food and incorporates a fictional investigation into the case of Maggie Sawyer, with diners following clues and decoding messages throughout the meal.
Dishes include Crispy Fried Chicken & Waffle with buckwheat waffle, smoked bacon caramel and roast chicken crème; Cuban Sandwich with chorizo, smoked ham hough, mojo rojo and mustard caviar; and New England Clam Chowder with roasted ling, crab bisque, barbecue corn, rouille and potato terrine.
Dessert is Maple Apple Cobbler with baked apple delice, oat and rye whiskey ice cream, maple and candied pecans. Vegetarian alternatives are also available.
American Murder Mystery follows previous interactive Six by Nico menus including Murder on the Midnight Express and Sherlock Holmes.
The refurbishment combines the group’s rotating tasting-menu format with a more flexible food and drink offer at its original London location.
