Quay Hospitality Group is to open its third Bodega restaurant on Poole High Street this winter.

The Dorset-based hospitality group will open the restaurant at 30 High Street, around 100 metres from Poole Quay, within the Grade II-listed building most recently occupied by Renoufs Cheese & Wine Bar.
Bodega Poole will serve Spanish small plates designed for sharing, using Spanish ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
The food offer will be overseen by local Executive Chef Quentin Royles.
The restaurant is being developed as an all-day neighbourhood venue for lunches, drinks and evening dining.
The property also includes a courtyard at the rear, which will provide an outdoor drinking and dining area away from the High Street.
Bodega Poole will become the third site for the concept as Quay Hospitality Group continues to develop its portfolio across Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
Founded by Dave Burns and Jason Giddings, the group also operates The Thomas Tripp, Eighteen, The Smugglers and Salty’s Yarmouth.
Dave Burns, founder of Quay Hospitality Group, said: “Poole is a town we love and this building has real history and charm. Bringing Bodega here feels like a natural next step for us. We want it to be a place locals return to week after week. We’re especially excited about the courtyard at the back – which is a gem that people will be delighted to discover.”
Jason Giddings, co-founder, added: “Bodega is all about generous food, good company and a bit of Spanish warmth which we are all going to need this Winter. Opening our third Bodega site in such a fantastic location is a proud moment for the whole Quay Hospitality team.”
Recruitment is now under way for managers alongside front of house, bar and kitchen team members.
A confirmed opening date will be announced in the coming weeks.
