Gaucho Manchester has unveiled its newly redesigned interior, marking a new chapter for the restaurant in the heart of the city.

The reopening comes as Gaucho celebrates more than 25 years in Manchester, a city that has played an important role in the brand’s story.
The newly transformed 205-cover restaurant introduces a warmer, more contemporary design direction inspired by the landscapes, textures and spirit of Latin America.
A timeless palette of earthy tones is layered with natural timber, rich marble, atmospheric lighting and refined finishes, creating an elegant and inviting setting.
Bespoke design features and carefully curated details, unique to Gaucho, add character throughout the space.
Brushed gold accents and signature forest green touches further elevate the restaurant with a distinctive sense of sophistication and identity.
Gaucho Manchester is housed within one of the city’s most distinctive 19th-century former churches.
The new design complements the original character of the building, with restored architectural features, including the original church organ, remaining central to the space.
A mezzanine dining level offers elevated views across the restaurant below.
At the centre of the restaurant, a renewed open kitchen brings the theatre of the grill into view, creating a closer connection between guests and the craft behind each dish.
Curated by Culinary Director Anthony Ekizian, Gaucho’s menu brings together its renowned steaks with vibrant dishes inspired by the flavours of Latin America.
Alongside prime cuts and the signature Churrasco, guests can enjoy King Prawn Sugo, Scallops with lemongrass, chilli and mango, Seabream with corn humita, and Flat Iron Chicken with macha and lime.
Together, the menu celebrates bold flavours, ingredients and Gaucho’s passion for grill-led cooking.
The new 47-seat bar has also been redesigned as a destination in its own right.
Rich marble, warm timber and atmospheric lighting create an intimate setting for pre-dinner drinks, late-night cocktails and social occasions.
Alongside an extensive collection of Argentinian wines, the cocktail menu offers a Gaucho twist on classic serves.
Highlights include the Margarita Picante, finished with a chimichurri salt rim; the Garrapiñada Rum Old Fashioned, inspired by the classic Argentine caramelised peanut treat; and the Tiramisu Espresso Martini, topped with tiramisu foam and cocoa.
The drinks collection celebrates craftsmanship, bold flavour and the vibrant spirit of Latin America.
For private dining and celebrations, Gaucho Manchester will introduce two dedicated spaces.
The Mendoza will seat up to 11 guests, while The Hive will accommodate up to 20 guests.
Baton Berisha, CEO of Gaucho, said: “I am incredibly excited to unveil the new look of our Manchester restaurant and to reintroduce Gaucho in one of the UK’s most dynamic and exciting cities.
“Manchester is a true hub of creativity, culture and history, and over the past 25 years we’ve had the privilege of welcoming the incredible people of Manchester through our doors. Their support has made this restaurant what it is today.
“That’s why we’ve chosen Manchester as the first city to introduce the new Gaucho. This refurbishment marks an exciting new chapter for the brand, reflecting our continued commitment to the city and our ambition to deliver exceptional hospitality in a setting that celebrates both our heritage and this great city’s vibrant spirit.”
The redesign marks an important evolution for Gaucho, combining heritage architecture, Latin American-inspired interiors, open-kitchen theatre, private dining and a strengthened bar experience in one of Manchester’s landmark hospitality settings.
