Salzburg’s largest conference hotel now operates under the Radisson Blu brand. The Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Centre, Salzburg is an upper-upscale, full-service hotel with 262 rooms and suites and 1,785 square meters of event space, including a 960-square-meter ballroom for up to 1,000 guests. The hotel’s integration into Radisson Hotel Group connects an established conference venue with international distribution, the Radisson Meetings program and Radisson Rewards, the group’s loyalty network with more than 27 million members worldwide. The launch under the Radisson Blu brand comes at a time of record growth in Austria’s meetings and events sector.

No other hotel in Salzburg combines a conference center of this scale – 1,785 square meters across 16 event spaces, with a 960-square-meter divisible ballroom – and an upper-upscale full-service hotel under a single international brand.
The hotel is situated approximately 300 meters from Salzburg’s main railway station, with direct rail connections to Vienna, Munich and Zurich. Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart is five kilometers away, around seven minutes by car. The UNESCO-listed Old Town is approximately 20 minutes on foot along the Salzach river. For guests arriving by car, underground parking with 450 spaces and six Type 2 EV charging stations is available on site.
The centerpiece of the conference offering is the Salzburg Hall, a 960-square-meter ballroom divisible into two sections: Salzburg I (540 square meters) and Salzburg II (420 square meters), suitable for congresses, galas and large-scale corporate events.
In total, the hotel features 16 event spaces, including mid-sized rooms of 125 to 150 square meters and breakout rooms for workshops and smaller meetings. All spaces are equipped with Wi-Fi, individual climate control and modern audiovisual technology. All meeting packages are delivered through the Radisson Meetings program and include carbon compensation at no additional cost, allowing organizers to plan more sustainable events without additional budget.
“Salzburg has long been one of Austria’s most important congress destinations, and this hotel has been at the center of that for years. Bringing it into the Radisson Blu network means connecting a proven, large-scale venue with international distribution, our Radisson Meetings program and the operational standards that event organizers expect from an established global brand. It also reinforces our growth in key Austrian and Central European markets,” says Joep Peeters, Chief Operating Officer Franchise EMEA, Radisson Hotel Group.
The hotel offers rooms and suites across seven categories, ranging from 24 to 78 square meters. Options include Standard, Superior and Premium rooms, Family rooms for up to four guests, and Executive rooms and Suites with access to the Club Lounge and rooftop terrace. All rooms feature complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and in-room safes.
Baroque combines restaurant, bar and bistro, offering a contemporary take on Austrian and regional cuisine with seasonal ingredients and locally sourced products. The venue is open to hotel guests and local visitors alike. Breakfast is served at Tamino on the ground floor, with access to an outdoor terrace during warmer months.
The hotel’s spa and wellness area includes a heated indoor pool, Finnish sauna, spa lounge, beauty treatments and a hair salon. A fitness room with cardio and strength equipment completes the offering. Access to the pool, sauna and fitness facilities is complimentary for all hotel guests.
The hotel holds three environmental certifications: the Austrian Green Meeting label, the EU Ecolabel and the Austrian Ecolabel – covering standards across energy management, waste reduction and sustainable event operations.
