Restaurant Associates have announced a series of promotions and hires based on 18 months of year-on-year growth, with several major contract gains across global contracts, industry leading asset management companies and technology brands.

Integral to this success has been the team of talented and dedicated individuals within the company who have continued to build strong relations with all partners, leading to unprecedented retention rates.

Focused on growing talent and fostering long term careers within the organisation, Mark Connell, previously Head of Sales, is to be congratulated on his new role as Sales and Retention Director. Mark will also be supporting the growth agenda for Rapport Guest Services and Chartwells Universities and Colleges.

Joining the company to support this growth is Jeni Edwards in the role of Business Development Director. With an operational background in foodservice, she went on to forge a highly successful career in sales before setting up her own consultancy in 2013. Jeni is a fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, a past-chair and board member of ACE, and sits on the fund-raising committee for Springboard UK.

Finally, Bonnie Taylor has been promoted through Restaurant Associates venues division to Business Development Manager to support with new sales proposals and bids alongside new hires Kate Law in the same role and Simon Myatt at Partnership Director. Both Law and Myatt bring a wealth of experience to the team with extensive backgrounds in operations and sales.

Matt Thomas, Managing Director of Restaurant Associates and Rapport, says: “Our recent series of new hires and promotions demonstrates our commitment to investing in our employees and fostering a culture of growth and development.

“We are proud to have a team of talented and dedicated individuals who are committed to delivering excellence to our clients and contributing to the growth of Restaurant Associates.  These new additions to our team will help us continue to innovate and expand our capabilities, and we look forward to their contributions in driving the success of our company.”
