By Angela Green, Content Executive: Semi-Finalists for UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year named.
The semi-finalists for the 10th Annual UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year competition have been revealed after an intense round of judging and deliberations.
The semi-finals will take place on Tuesday 28 March at the Gordon Ramsay Academy in Woking and a full line up of experienced judges has been assembled.
Vicky Enderson , Chair of the Judges commented: “the quality of entries this year have exceeded expectations and it was a very difficult decision to select our eight teams for the semi-finals.”
Judges for the semi-finals also include Leigh Myers, James Benger, Rupert Rowley, Claire Bosi, and special guest judge James ‘Jocky’ Petrie from the Gordon Ramsay Group.
The teams selected for the semi-finals are:
- Belfast Metropolitan College
- Loughborough College
- Suffolk New College
- Coleg Y Cymoedd
- North Warwickshire and South Leicester College
- Cheshire College South and West Crewe
- Sheffield College
- Eastleigh College
The Grand Final will take place at the Skills for Chefs Conference on 28 June.
