Institute of Hospitality Golf Day 2023 now open for bookings

Institute of Hospitality Golf Day 2023 now open for bookings

The Institute of Hospitality is now taking bookings for this year’s Golf Day, taking place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort on Thursday 25th May 2023.

This year’s event is the result of a partnership between H&C News, the IoH, and Caterer.com creating the inaugural event last year where £5,225 was raised for IoH Youth Council.

Robert Richardson FIH, Chief Executive, Institute of Hospitality said: “There has never been a more important time to support young people through their careers in hospitality. Our Youth Council Talent inspire and support young people entering into our hospitality family, helping tackle the scarcity of people in our great industry.

“I look forward to welcoming members of the IoH family to The Belfry to raise funds at this event for the IoH Youth Council, which enables young professionals as they set out upon their hospitality careers.”

Kathy Dyball MIH, Brand Director, Caterer.com commented: “The IoH is an important organisation and charity for hospitality, with the reach and means to positively impact the professional development of those in all areas of the sector. The funds raised by this golf day mean they can deliver resources to an even wider pool of talent, enabling them to progress their hospitality careers. This includes the funding of the IoH Bursary which gives access to CPD to those for whom it may otherwise be out of reach, and their Youth Council which provides a voice to a future cohort of hospitality leaders. Caterer.com are pleased to be partnering with IoH and the team at H&C News on this event, at which attendees will enjoy a day of world class golfing, an excellent dinner and great networking. At a time when it’s crucial we come together as a sector at every opportunity to make a meaningful difference, events like this are important to support.”

If you want to take a look at how much fun was had last year, and the incredible list of industry names supporting the event, a review with video interviews can be seen here.

A Four-Ball Team including a three-course dinner in the evening is £1,195 + VAT.
